Not Losing Weight?
You have tried and tried and still you are not losing weight. What are you doing wrong? You have even begun an exercise routine and still nothing. The scales seem to be stuck in the neutral zone.
There are some people who initially lose weight and then a few months later gain the pound back and even more. Approximately 70% of the population has experienced this. An excitement at losing weight, only to gain it back and then feel like a failure.
A wise action to take is to make an appointment with your health care provider. You just may have a physical ailment that literally prevents you from losing weight and may even contribute to your weight gain. Diabetes and hypothyroid are two health issues that come to mind.
Fat binders work but not every fat binder on the market works. Exercise needs to be done daily for at least a minimum of 30 minutes. A well thought out diet plan and an exercise routine will help you get back on track and then those numbers on your scale may start to head south. It will take time and lots of effort but the result will be well worth it. After all, you have learned new methods of substituting even healthier foods into your diet plan.
The best advice is to use tested diet plans. Keep eating meals that combine vegetables and fruit, are low in carbohydrates and have healthy proteins. Further adjustments can be made in daily products such as buying skim milk instead of 1% milk or fat free cottage cheese and any other cheeses. Eating primarily fish and chicken as well as beans or nuts may have a positive impact.
Stay away from snack bars. Those delicious chocolates, or chips, will end up on your waist. And it is very hard to stay away from these snacks when you know they are just a few feet away from you, stashed in a kitchen cupboard. If you think you just cannot live without snacks, make sure you take the calorie count into consideration when planning your meals.
Losing weight should not be about deprivation but about manipulating food items that will allow you healthy choices with a certain caloric range. If one or two chocolates is part of the routine, that’s okay. Just take that into account.
Usually a wrong diet plan or inconsistency in your exercise routine is the culprit in your inability to lose weight. If you are primarily engaging in aerobic exercise routines, incorporate some weight lifting exercises in your daily program. These burn a lot of calories, but you will have to remember that once you stop doing them and continue eating the way you have been, those numbers on the scale will begin to creep up.
